Fun, Fitness & Skill Development
Our recreational gymnastics classes are suitable for children of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those with previous gymnastics experience.
Sessions are designed to be fun, active and progressive, helping gymnasts develop their skills, strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
What Will My Child Learn?
Gymnasts work on a wide range of gymnastics skills, including:
-
Tumbling, rolls, cartwheels and handstands
-
Balance beam and vault
-
Strength, flexibility and body control
-
Balance, coordination and spatial awareness
-
Confidence, listening and teamwork
Our coaches provide encouragement and guidance throughout, allowing each gymnast to progress at their own pace.
Why Gymnastics?
Regular gymnastics helps children build physical strength and flexibility while developing coordination, concentration, discipline and confidence.
Most importantly, our classes are about having fun, making friends and enjoying gymnastics.
What to Expect
Our sessions follow a structured, progressive programme in a safe and encouraging environment. Gymnasts are supported by our experienced coaches and challenged according to their individual ability.
Opportunities to Shine
For gymnasts who would like to take their skills further, we offer a range of optional competition and event opportunities throughout the year, including our Christmas Gala displays and February Invitational competition.
Children can work towards taking part in friendly competitions, displays and events both on and off the Island, giving them the opportunity to showcase their progress, gain valuable experience and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Competitions and events are never a requirement, and many children simply enjoy attending classes for fun and fitness. Whether your child wants to train recreationally or challenge themselves through competition, every gymnast has the opportunity to thrive at MGCE!
Whether your child is taking their first steps in gymnastics or looking to develop existing skills, we'd love to welcome them to MGCE.
